Working out of Imt Manesar means we are surrounded by a lot of other factories and units. Our spot at Plot No-198 in Sector 7 is usually a noisy place. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or a truck backing up. We handle a lot of steel here. It’s heavy, dirty work and your clothes are usually ruined by the end of the week. We have a small team of workers who know their way around the shears and the grinders. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a big shed with a small corner for the desk and the computer. The power goes out sometimes and everything goes quiet, which is a bit strange. Then the generator kicks in and we get back to it. We take orders, cut the steel, and load it up. There is a lot of dust in the air most days. We drink our water from the big cooler in the corner. Manesar can be a tough place to work in the summer because the heat just stays inside the shed. We don't spend money on big signs or glossy brochures. People just come here because they need steel and they know we are here. It’s a simple life of hard work. We usually finish up quite late when there is a big order to ship out to a client.
