Royal Steel Works

At Royal Steel Works, we spend most of our time at A-279 in Sec-31, right on Masjid Road. It’s a practical space where we handle all kinds of steel tasks. We deal with heavy metal sheets and rods every single day. The sound of welding and the smell of hot metal is pretty much what our life is about. It’s not a quiet place at all. We have our tools laid out, though they aren’t always in the perfect order. When a job comes in, we just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the welds are solid. We do things like window grills, door frames, and other small structural stuff. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to use the equipment properly. The shop is open early in the morning and we usually stay until the sun goes down or the work is finished. Masjid Road is usually busy, so there is always some noise from the street mixing with our machines. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t use any computer programs or anything; we just mark the steel with chalk and cut it. It works for us. Sometimes we run out of space when a big order comes in, so we have to move things out onto the front for a bit. It is just a regular workshop where we do what we can for the people who stop by.
