We’ve been running Parikh Steel Pvt Ltd from this spot in DLF Phase I for a good while now. Gurgaon has changed a lot since we first set up here at H-33/8. It used to be much quieter, but now the traffic is something else. Most days we are just busy keeping up with orders and talking to people about their steel needs. It is hard work and the warehouse side of things gets pretty dusty, but that is just how it goes with metal. We don’t really have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just the office where we handle the paperwork and make sure the trucks are going where they need to. People around here know us as the local steel guys. We try to keep things straightforward. If you come by, you’ll see we are usually just buried in logs or on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is annoying, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It is not always glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps us active. We have seen a lot of neighbors come and go in this part of Haryana. Dealing with steel means a lot of heavy lifting and checking specs over and over. It gets repetitive, honestly, but getting the right stuff to the right site is what matters at the end of the day. We are just a bunch of regular people trying to do a job well.
