Nain Steel Fabricator

Nain Steel Fabricator is over near the Sanjay Millennium building, right by the Dhanwapur Railway Crossing. Being near a railway crossing means we spend a lot of our day listening to the bells and the sound of the gates coming down. It’s a bit out of the way in Laxman Vihar, specifically the Vaishno Garden area. Our workshop is mostly open to the air because of all the welding we do. There are scraps of iron and steel lying around, and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings and dust. It’s hard work and it gets very hot, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the metal roof. We have a few guys working here, and we just focus on making things like gates, window grills, and frames. We don’t have a fancy office; it’s just a corner with a table and a couple of chairs where we talk to people about what they need built. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to stop everything, which can be frustrating. We live nearby, so the commute isn't bad. The area is growing, with more houses popping up in Vaishno Garden, so we see a lot of new faces passing by. We just take things one job at a time. It’s loud, it’s messy, and we usually go home with grease on our hands, but that’s just how steel work is.
