Our steel plant is situated right on Hasanpur Road. If you know the area, you probably know the stretch where all the industrial work happens. We focus on bright steel here. It’s a noisy place most of the time because the machines are always running. We have a decent crew of guys who have been with us for years and they really know their way around the metal. The office is just a small room off to the side of the main shed. It’s where we keep the records and handle the orders that come in. It’s often quite dusty and hot, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We don't have any flashy signs or a big sales team. Most of our customers are local businesses who need specific steel supplies for their own projects. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the rollers are working like they should. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but we always get back to it. Hassan Pur isn't the busiest place, but there is enough work to keep us going from sunrise to sunset. We just try to do a solid job and keep the machines in good shape. If you pass by, you can usually hear the sound of the cutters from the road. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do.
