Mystic Punjab

If you walk into the Super Market at DLF City Phase I, you’ll find us at B 133. That’s where Mystic Punjab is located. It’s a busy little corner of the market, and there’s always something happening nearby. We usually get things going by mid-morning, getting the kitchen set up and checking the supplies. The Super Market has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over time. B 133 isn't the biggest unit, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent handling the pots and pans and making sure the food is ready for the lunch crowd. People from the offices nearby and the residents of Phase I come through quite often. It gets a bit crowded during the peak hours, and the noise from the market can be a lot, but we’re used to it by now. We don't really go for any of those modern looks; we just keep the place functional for daily work. The floors get swept a few times a day because people bring in a lot of dust from the street. It’s hard work, but it feels right to be here. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit, but Mystic Punjab stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the orders are right. It’s a plain and simple way to run a business. We show up, we cook, and we head home when the market shuts down.
