You can find us at Shop No 57 on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road. We’re right across from the Maruti Udyog Limited Gate No 2, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Maachh Bhaat Flavours Of Odisha is really just about what the name says. We wanted to bring some of the food from Odisha to this part of Gurgaon. It’s quite different from what you usually get on this road. We spend a lot of time trying to get the right ingredients, especially the fish. It isn't always easy in a place like this. The shop isn't very big, and during the shift changes at Maruti, it gets very crowded on the street. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking. Sometimes the mustard smell from the kitchen hits you before you even walk in. We don't have fancy decorations or a big marketing team. It’s just a kitchen and some tables. Most people come here because they miss the taste of home or they just want something different from the usual parathas you find in Gurgaon. We make the rice and the fish curries the way we learned back home. It’s simple, honest work. The menu is small because we prefer to do a few things right rather than a hundred things badly. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the locals seem to know us.
