M. P Steel & Hardware

M. P Steel & Hardware is located right at Fawara Chowk. We are basically inside the same area as Gupta Lodge and that Hotel Park Plaza. Since we are so close to the bus stand, there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. It is a very busy spot to be in every day. We handle a lot of steel rods and heavy hardware stuff here in the shop. The floors are usually a bit dirty from the metal pieces and the shoes of people coming in from the dusty street. We don't spend much time making the place look pretty because it is a workspace first and foremost. Most of our day is spent unloading trucks or cutting metal things to size for customers who are building stuff in the neighborhood. It can get pretty loud when the big buses pull in next door at the station, but you get used to it after working here for a while. We have been in this location for quite some time and we know most of the guys running the lodges and hotels around us. If you are looking for where we are, just head toward the fawara and you will see the Park Plaza hotel. We are tucked in right there nearby. It is a practical shop for practical needs. We keep the inventory moving and try to help people find what they need without any fuss. Sometimes the stock gets a bit mixed up in the back, but we usually find what is needed eventually.
