Kitchen Kurries

We are located on the ground floor over at 21/35 in Old Rajinder Nagar. The big water tank nearby is the best landmark to find us if you are new to the area. It’s a small kitchen, mostly meant for people to pick up their food or get it delivered to their homes. The space is pretty tight inside. We have boxes of supplies and groceries stacked near the door sometimes. We started this because we liked to cook, and it just grew from there over the months. The street outside is narrow, so parking a car is always a bit of a headache. We tell people to just walk over if they live nearby. The menu is written on a chalkboard that we smudge every time we have to change a price or a dish. It's just a few of us working here. Sometimes the orders pile up and things get a bit chaotic in the kitchen. We try to stay organized but it's hard when the phone is ringing constantly and the stove is full. We don’t have a fancy dining area. Just a counter and the smell of spices everywhere. The neighborhood is mostly students and people working in offices. We see a lot of the same people every single evening. We don't do anything special with the packaging. Just plain white containers and brown bags. It’s just honest food from a small kitchen near the tank.
