Kayem Food Industries is located on Bajghera Road, right near the P.O. in Palam Vihar. This part of the city is always moving. Being in the food industry, our days start quite early. By the time most people are having breakfast, we’ve already been at it for hours. The facility on Bajghera Road is where all the action happens. It’s a busy street, and we have trucks coming in with supplies and leaving with finished goods all day long. Palam Vihar is a well-known spot, so it makes things easier for our staff and visitors. Inside, it’s all about the production lines and making sure things are clean and running. We don’t have much time for office politics or long meetings. Most of our talking happens on the move or over a quick lunch. The smell of the food processing is just part of the environment here. We’ve grown accustomed to the noise of the machinery. It’s a private limited company, but it feels more like a local outfit because of how we operate. We know the delivery drivers by name. We deal with the challenges of the road and the local power cuts just like everyone else in the area. Our focus is just on getting the food out and keeping the Bajghera Road site productive every single day. It’s hard work, but we find a way to make it work through the seasons.
