Eato

Eato is a small shop, number 135, right in the main Huda Market of Sector 23. Gurgaon is a fast place, but this market feels a bit more like a community. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. It’s not a very big shop, so we mostly focus on quick service. The 122015 area has a lot of people coming through for their daily shopping. We get a mix of office workers and people who live right here in the sector. I usually get here early to set things up before the market gets crowded. The rent in Gurgaon is high, so we have to stay busy to keep things going. We don't have a big staff, just me and a couple of others. We don't use any fancy equipment or have a designer interior. It’s just a functional kitchen and a counter. Sometimes the power goes out in the market, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just make food and hope people like it enough to come back next week. If you’re walking through Huda Market, you’ll see us. We’re right there in the middle of everything. It gets pretty loud on the weekends, but we like the energy.
