Green Chutney

We’ve been here in Gurgaon 122001 for a while now. It started because we wanted to do something with food that felt like home, not like those fancy places you see in the malls. The kitchen is always busy from early morning. We get the vegetables delivered daily, and someone is always chopping or grinding things. That’s how the name Green Chutney came about, just thinking of fresh ingredients. It’s a small operation. Most days, you’ll find us just trying to get orders out on time. The traffic in Gurgaon is a headache, so we see people coming in after a long commute looking tired. We just give them a seat and some food. Sometimes the salt is a tiny bit off or the delivery boy gets lost, but we fix it. It isn’t a big corporate chain. It’s just us. We’ve got a few tables, some chairs that might wobble a bit if you don't sit right, and a lot of steam from the pots. People ask what’s good today, and we just tell them what’s fresh. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just open the shutters, cook, and go home when the food runs out. It’s been like this since we opened. If you’re around this part of Gurgaon, you might see our sign. It isn't very bright, but it’s there. We hope it looks okay to people passing by.
