Jindal Stainless

We are at 367/2 in Adarsh Nagar, Gurgaon, under the care of Moti Ram Kansal. This part of Gurgaon feels a lot older than the new sectors with all the glass buildings. The streets are narrower and there are a lot more shops and houses packed together. Our office for Jindal Stainless is in a building that has seen better days, but it is sturdy. The entrance is a bit hard to find if you aren't looking for it. We have a lot of metal samples on the desks, and they serve as paperweights mostly. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the neighbors. There is a guy who sells snacks on the corner and the smell of fried food usually wafts in around four o'clock. It makes us all hungry. The walls are painted a simple white, but they have some scuffs from moving boxes around. We have a big map of the area pinned to the wall with some red markers on it. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on the high setting, so we usually keep it on medium. It’s just a plain, working-class office. We don't have a fancy espresso machine, just some instant coffee and a jar of sugar. People come here to talk business and then they leave. It’s straightforward and we like it that way. Adarsh Nagar is a good, grounded place to be.
