Jindal Stainless Limited(Architecture Divn.)

Our office is on the first floor in South City 2, right off Sohna Road in Gurgaon. If you know Gurgaon, you know how the traffic can get out there, especially during the rush hours. We handle the architecture side of things for Jindal Stainless Limited. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the factory floors. We have drawings and samples lying around everywhere. The light is okay in the mornings, but by afternoon it gets pretty bright. We usually have a few people coming in to talk about steel designs or how to use the materials in buildings. It’s not a huge office, just D1/58, but we make it work. Most of us have been here for a while and we know the neighborhood well enough to know where the good food stalls are. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big stuff up can be a pain. It feels like a normal workplace where things get done without too much fuss. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking every single day, just making sure the specs are right and the orders are moving along. Sometimes the AC makes a weird noise, but we’re used to it. It’s just a regular office life in a busy part of town. We keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not always glamorous but we get it done.
