Jfe Shoji Trade India Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of the Jfe Group from Japan, but our office is right here in Gurgaon at C 6 Sanjay Gram. We are quite close to Sector 14, which is a well-known area. Even though we have roots in Japan, the daily life here is very much local. Our office is tucked away in a spot that is not as flashy as the Cyber City area. We deal with trade and logistics, which involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. The desks are usually covered with shipping documents and schedules. We do not have a big corporate cafeteria or anything like that. We usually just order something from the local places nearby or bring our own food from home. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the branch opened. We have learned to deal with the Gurgaon heat and the occasional traffic jams that happen right outside our door. We do not have a polished way of talking about ourselves. We just manage the trading business and try to stay organized. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic with the time difference when we talk to Japan, but we manage. It is just a regular office where people work hard to keep the trade moving along. Most of the furniture is a bit old but it does the job.
