J. D. Sons Steels (P) Ltd.

Our place is located at 1/5, Khandsa Road. It is an older part of town, so things can get a bit crowded on the street outside, especially on market days. J. D. Sons Steels has been a family-involved thing for a long time. We mostly deal with different types of steel products. It isn't the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy. The warehouse is usually full of stock, and there is always someone loading or unloading something. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our customers are people we've known for ages. They just call up or stop by the gate. We keep a small office in the front where we handle the paperwork and drink way too much chai. Some days are slow, and we just sit around talking about the news, but other days are hectic from sunrise to sunset. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first opened our doors here on Khandsa Road. The buildings are closer together now and there's more traffic. Still, we like it here. It's home for the business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a steel company trying to stay helpful to the people who buy from us. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, and the trucks get stuck, which adds a bit of chaos to our morning. We’ve learned to just laugh it off and wait for things to clear up.
