Hitachi Metglas India Pvt. Ltd. is based out in Sector 36, in Pace City II. This is an industrial area, so it’s surrounded by other factories and large warehouses. It’s not the kind of place you just stumble upon; you usually have a reason to be out here. The facility is large because we handle materials that need a lot of space. We spend our days dealing with the production and logistics side of the business. It’s often dusty and loud outside because of all the construction and trucks in Pace City. Inside, we have our offices and the production floor. We aren't a small mom-and-pop shop, but we try to keep a grounded attitude. There’s a lot of technical stuff going on, but at the end of the day, it’s just people working together to make things. We have a cafeteria where everyone gathers, and that’s where most of the real talking happens. The commute out to Sector 36 can be a bit of a trek for some of us, but we’re used to it now. We don't put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. We just focus on the metal and the orders that need to be filled. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where the clock starts early and we stay until the job is done for the day. Sometimes the weather makes the work tough, but the crew here just gets on with things.
