Gupta Canteen Services

We are based at the plot behind 114 in Sector 17, Gurgaon, right near Lykam School. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, so you have to know where you are going to find us. Being near the school means we hear the sounds of the kids during their breaks, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. Gupta Canteen Services is basically a busy kitchen and a staging area for our deliveries. We have a lot of stainless steel tables and big burners that we use all day long. The plot itself is functional and we do not spend much time worrying about how it looks to outsiders. It is a place for work. We start very early, often before the sun is up, to get the first batch of meals ready. There is a lot of chopping vegetables and boiling water involved. Sector 17 is a pretty solid part of town, not as modern as the new sectors but it has everything we need. We handle our own cleaning and we move our own crates. It is a very hands-on job. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just write down what we need to do on a chalkboard and get to it. Sometimes we run out of space when a big order comes in, but we always find a way to make it fit. It is just how we operate.
