Green Chilli

Green Chilli is right in the Huda Market area of Gurgaon Village. It’s a lively spot, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We’ve been here for a while, and the place has become a bit of a second home for those of us who work here. The morning starts with us dragging the chairs out and getting the stove going. We aren’t a big chain or anything; it’s just a local eatery where things are done the old-fashioned way. The walls have some marks on them and the menu is simple, but that’s how we like it. We see a lot of people from the village and the nearby offices coming in for a quick lunch. It gets loud when the market is full, and we often have to shout over the noise to hear the orders. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. We just keep the kitchen running and make sure the tables are wiped down after every guest. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to sit out front for a bit and watch the people go by. It’s a grounded kind of life, mostly centered around the smell of onions and spices. We just show up every day, do our work, and try to keep things moving along without much fuss or drama.
