Go Chaatzz

You can find us at Go Chaatzz in the South City 1 Market at Shop Number 3. It is a small space but it fits everything we need to make our snacks. Every morning starts with boiling potatoes and chopping up plenty of onions. The market gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone comes out for a walk. We see a lot of families and groups of friends stopping by. It can get a bit messy with the chutneys but that is part of the job. We have been in this spot for some time now and the locals know where to find us. Sometimes the weather is too hot and we just sit near the fan waiting for customers. Other times we can barely keep up with the orders coming in. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us working together. It’s a lot of washing dishes and wiping down the counters. The market noise is something you just get used to after a while. We get our ingredients in every day and try to get the balance of spices just right for each plate. It’s not a glamorous job but we like being part of the community here in South City. We usually stay open until the market starts to quiet down around ten.
