Food Bucket

Food Bucket is our little shop over at number 51 in the Sector 14 main market. We’re right near the PNB bank, so we get a lot of people coming in after they finish their errands. It’s a small space, and things can get pretty tight when the lunch rush starts. We don’t have fancy menus or professional decorations. It’s just some tables, chairs, and the food we prepare every day. We start early in the morning to get everything ready before the market opens up. The smell of cooking fills the shop, which is nice, but it can get pretty hot in the kitchen area. We’ve been in this sector for a while and we know most of the other shopkeepers around us. We don’t have a big corporate strategy or anything like that. We just want to serve something that people enjoy eating without charging them too much money. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, and we just have to tell people we’re sorry. It’s just me and a couple of others working here, so we do everything from cleaning the floors to taking the money at the counter. It’s a lot of work, but seeing the same faces come back every day makes it feel worth it. We don't pretend to be anything more than a local food spot in a busy market. It is just our way of making a living.
