Our office is located in the Institutional Area of Sector 44 in Gurgaon. This part of the city is filled with tall buildings and lots of people in formal clothes walking quickly to their meetings. We are on the 31st plot here. The building is typical for the area, lots of glass and concrete. Inside, it is mostly rows of desks and the sound of people typing or talking on their phones. We handle a lot of the backend work for the food brands you see around the city. It is not very exciting to look at, just a lot of paperwork and computer screens. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floor at the same time. We have a small area where we eat our lunch, and that is usually when the office feels most alive. Outside, the parking is always a bit of a mess because there are so many offices nearby. Sector 44 is a busy place, and there is always some construction going on nearby that makes a lot of noise during the day. We just try to get our work done and keep things moving. Most of us have been working together for a few years now, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. It is a professional environment, but we keep it pretty relaxed among ourselves. The view from the windows is just more office buildings and the metro line in the distance.
