Degchi Dilli 6

Degchi Dilli 6 is located deep in the middle of Sadar Bazar. Our shop is number 5330, right in Gali Petiwali in the Multani Sarai area. If you know Sadar Bazar at all, you already know how crowded and loud it gets every single day. It is a real experience just trying to get here through the crowds. We have been in this little corner for quite a while now. It is a narrow lane, but it has a lot of history behind it. We do not have fancy lights or a big glass storefront like the newer places. It is a small shop where we just focus on the cooking part. Most of the time, the whole area is packed with shoppers and carts moving back and forth. We are just a small part of the daily bustle of Multani Sarai. There is no corporate manual or training guide here. We just know how to do things because we have been doing them for many years. Gali Petiwali is a tight squeeze, but people still manage to find us. We do not do much talking, we just get the work done. The heat in the kitchen gets pretty intense during the summers, but that is just part of the job. We are proud to be in Dilli 6. It is not an easy place to work, but it has a lot of heart.
