If you walk into the J M D Regent Arcade on M G Road, you’ll find us there. Daikichi Foods India has been set up in this building for a while. The arcade is one of those places that feels very different depending on the time of day. In the mornings it is quiet and we can hear our own footsteps on the tiled floors, but by the afternoon it gets quite lively with people coming and going. We spend most of our time inside, dealing with the paperwork and the food items that come through. It’s a clean space, though a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock arriving at once. M G Road is always packed with traffic, so we hear the honking and the engines even when we are deep inside the building. Our spot isn't the biggest one in the Regent Arcade, but it fits everything we need to keep the business running. We don't have any glossy brochures or big displays. Most of what we do is just practical, everyday work. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we have a rhythm. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s just a regular workplace in a busy Gurgaon mall, nothing more and nothing less than that. It works for us. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
