Crave Kitchen

We set up Crave Kitchen right on Mehrauli Gurgaon Road at shop numbers 305 and 306. Being on such a main road means we see a lot of cars and people passing by every single hour of the day. The kitchen is where we spend almost all our time. It can get pretty cramped back there when we have a lot of orders going at once and the stove is on full blast. We started this because we liked to cook and thought this location would be a good test for us. The noise from the traffic never really stops, so we just got used to it after a while. We have a few tables for people who want to sit down, but a lot of what we do is just packing things up for people to take home or to their offices. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place on the block. We just keep the stove running and the ingredients as fresh as we can get them. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we have to scramble, but we manage to keep things going. The staff is just a few of us who know the menu by heart. It is hard work and the days are long, but that is just how the food business goes. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just put the sign out and hope people like the food.
