Boby Steel Fabrication. Shop 101 is our spot, out near Saroorpur on Sohna Road. It’s a dusty area with a lot of construction always happening. We spend most of our time welding and cutting steel. The shop is basically a big open space with a roof. It gets really hot in the summer, but you just drink more water and keep going. We handle a lot of heavy metalwork. Sometimes it’s for new houses, sometimes for local shops. People find us because we’re right on the main Sohna Road stretch. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a clean floor. There are always metal shavings and pieces of scrap around. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the torch. We don’t spend money on marketing or fancy signs. Most of our work comes from people passing by or neighbors telling others about us. If you need a gate or some window grills, we can do that. It’s hard work on the back and the eyes, but it’s what we do. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too high. There’s a tea shop nearby where we take our breaks and talk shop. It’s a very simple operation. We just want to make things that last. If it’s steel, we can probably fix it or build it for you. There is no mystery to it, just hard work.
