Bharat Fibre & Steel Company

Bharat Fibre & Steel Company is located at Shop No-12 in Mahespur. We are in Sector 21, quite close to the bus stand. Because we are near the transport hub, there are always trucks and buses moving around. It makes the air a bit heavy with exhaust, but it’s good for getting materials in and out. We deal with fibre sheets and various steel products. It is heavy, cold material that takes some muscle to move around. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things carefully to make everything fit. Often, you will see us out front loading a rickshaw or a small tempo for a customer. It is a straightforward business. People come in, ask for a specific gauge or size, and we see if we have it in the back. Sector 21 is a practical area, not really a place for window shopping. Most people who come to Mahespur are here for a reason. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk that’s been here since we opened. The lights inside are a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see the sign near the bus stand and walk in. It is a quiet life of lifting and measuring. We just try to keep the stock ready for whoever needs it for their construction projects.
