Azad Metals

You can find Azad Metals over on Old Railway Road, right near the Sohna Chowk intersection. This is an old part of the city and you can really feel that history when you walk around. The shop is usually full of different types of metal, and the smell of iron and steel is pretty much everywhere. It is a noisy area because of all the traffic coming through the chowk, and there is usually a lot of honking and shouting from the street. We are not a fancy showroom or anything like that. We are just a local business dealing in metals and we have been at this location for a long time. The floor is often covered in scraps and there is a lot of heavy lifting involved in a normal day. We have a small team of guys who are used to the hard work and the grime that comes with handling metal all day. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the heat and the noise, but we just get on with it. People know us for being right there on Old Railway Road, and we get a lot of regulars who stop by because they know exactly where we are. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate policies; we just open the doors in the morning and work until the sun goes down near Sohna Chowk.
