Asha Steel Fabricators

Our workshop is at 55-56 Sikanderpur Road in the Sikenderpur area. It is a rugged part of town where a lot of heavy work gets done every day. We are surrounded by other shops that deal with building materials and hardware. We work with steel, mostly making things like gates, window grills, and heavy frames. The air in the shop is often thick with the smell of metal and the sound of welding machines humming. We don't have a showroom or a fancy entrance. When you come to see us, you walk right into where the sparks are flying. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and joining pieces of steel together. It is physical work that leaves us pretty tired by the end of the day. We have been at this location for a good many years and have seen a lot of buildings go up in the area using the stuff we’ve made. Most of our customers come in with a hand-drawn plan and we work out the details together on a workbench. We don't use any fancy computer designs; we just rely on our experience and a tape measure. The shop can be a bit chaotic with scraps of metal everywhere, but that is just part of the process. We've stayed on Sikanderpur Road because it is where our customers are. It is a straightforward business based on hard work and solid steel.
