Angels In My Kitchen

So we are over here at Arjun Marg D-134 in DLF City Phase I. It’s a busy little corner. Most of the time, the air smells like sugar and flour because someone is always back there working on something. It gets pretty hot near the ovens, especially in the summer months when the air conditioning can’t quite keep up with everything. We’ve got a few tables, but people mostly come in and out pretty quick. The floor usually has a bit of flour on it no matter how many times we sweep it during the shift. There is always a pile of dishes to be done and someone is usually sweeping. Being in Phase I means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. We aren't trying to be some big fancy chain or anything like that. It’s just a kitchen where we make things we think people will like. Sometimes we run out of stuff earlier than we thought we would, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It happens. The staff is mostly local people who live nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Arjun Marg is a good spot to be, even if parking is a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been at D-134 for a bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. That’s basically all there is to it.
