Aasid Steel Fabrication Works

Our place is on the Main Road in Sector-5, which is quite a busy stretch. We are located very close to the Lt Atul Kataria Memorial School, so every afternoon the street fills up with kids and parents, making it a bit lively. The shop is filled with the smell of scorched iron and the bright flash of the welding arc. We work primarily with steel, making things like frames, gates, and safety grills. There are stacks of raw materials leaning against the walls and half-finished projects taking up most of the floor space. It’s a dusty environment, and your hands stay black from the metal all day. We use heavy hammers and grinders that make a lot of noise, so we don’t talk much while the machines are running. It’s hard on the back, but we’ve been doing this long enough that it’s just part of the routine. The shop is open to the street, so we see everyone passing by while we work. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that; what you see is the actual workspace where the labor happens. It’s a basic shed with a roof that gets hot under the sun, but it’s where we get the steel work done. We keep our tools organized on the workbench, but there is always something out of place. We just take the orders as they come and try to get the measurements right.
