Rewatipur Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located in the Ghazipur area, specifically in Gohda Vishunpura. Our main point of contact is Virendra Tiwari at his place. Rewatipur is our home, and we started this farmer producer company because we wanted to have a bit more control over how our crops are sold and how we get our supplies. Being a farmer in Ghazipur has its ups and downs. One day you’re worried about the pests, and the next you’re worried about the market price. By working together, we share that burden a little bit. We are not a polished business with a lot of money. Most of our resources go back into the land or into buying seeds for the next season. The office is just a functional space where we keep our files and meet up after the day’s work is done. It gets loud and crowded when everyone shows up at once, but that’s the way we like it. We speak the local language and understand the local problems. We aren't interested in sounding corporate because that’s not who we are. We are just farmers who decided to organize.
