We are the people who started Kunjdev Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our small office is located at 25 Malikpura in Mohammedabad, which is in the Ghazipur district. Manoj Rai is the one who helps keep all our records and papers organized. Like most people living in this part of Uttar Pradesh, our whole lives are built around the farming seasons. We decided to form this company so we could work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. It is much better for us when we go to sell our crops. We handle the things that families around Malikpura have been growing for many years. We don't have a big sign or a website. Most people in the village just know where to find us. It is a very grounded and simple way of working. We spend our mornings out checking on the plants and our afternoons dealing with the business side of things. It is not always fun, but it is necessary work. Sometimes we have meetings on the porch or in the front room of the office. We talk about the price of seeds, what the market is doing, and who needs an extra hand with their harvest. It is a very human way of doing things. We aren't interested in looking like a corporate office. We just want our hard work to pay off. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the weather and the markets, but we manage somehow.
