Phoolwashi Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in the Tulasipur Chhawaniline area of Ghazipur. We operate out of Smt Pavari Devi’s place. We are a small group of local people who decided that we should stop trying to do everything on our own. Ghazipur is a good place for farming, but it has its challenges like anywhere else. Most of us have small plots of land, so we don't have much power when we go to the market. That’s why we started this. We aren't a big business with a bunch of rules. We are neighbors who help each other out with labor and tools. Some days we are out in the sun from dawn until dusk, and other days we are just sitting around waiting for the rain. It’s an unpredictable life. We don't use any fancy language because we don't know any. We just know how to grow crops and how to tell when the soil is ready. We are trying to learn more about how to package and sell our things so we can get a bit more money back for all the sweat we put in. It’s been a learning curve for all of us. We just want to make sure that our kids have a better future on this land. It’s just us doing our best with what we have. If you pass by our area, you'll see we are just ordinary folks working the ground to make ends meet.
