Dev Raj Batura

We've been here at Krishna Nagar J 5 3 for quite a long time now. Most people around here know the spot. It’s just a small place, nothing fancy. Dev Raj Batura is basically just what we do every day. Sometimes it gets busy, especially in the mornings when the neighborhood is waking up. We don't really have a big sign or anything, just the address. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they live on this street. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stuff, but we manage. My father started this years ago and I just kept it going. There isn't much to say about it really. We just open up, do the work, and go home. If you're walking down the lane, you'll see us. The door is usually open unless it's raining hard. We handle things as they come. It’s not like those big companies in the city. We know our neighbors and they know us. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s quiet. The building has seen better days but it holds up. We don't spend much time thinking about business in that way, we just focus on what needs doing today. It’s a simple setup. If you need something, you just stop by. We don't really use the phone much for orders. Most people just walk in. That's how it has always been here at J 5 3. It's home to us now.
