Kanchanvarni Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over in Ward 008 of Raykanpura City. We aren't some massive operation with a bunch of suits. It’s just us, the local folks who know the land around here. We decided to get organized so we could handle our farming business a bit more sensibly. Some days are spent looking at the dirt and others are spent talking to neighbors about what they’re seeing in their own patches. It’s busy work. Being in Raykanpura means we are close enough to the town to get what we need but we still have our feet in the mud most of the time. The weather is always a topic of conversation around the office because that’s what dictates our schedule. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just have people who know how to plant and when to pick. Sometimes we forget to file the papers exactly right away because there is actual work to do outside. We take care of each other and try to keep the crops healthy. It is hard work but it is what we know. People stop by when they need help or if they want to join in. We just keep our heads down and keep moving. No one here is an expert in fancy business talk, but we know how to grow things and how to fix a broken fence when it counts. It’s about being practical and helping the community stay strong.
