Carrier Crop Science Llp

You can find us in Rawla, which is part of the Gharsana area in Sriganga Nagar. Our specific spot is 6 Psd (B). We work under the name Carrier Crop Science, but don't let the name make you think we're in some laboratory. We spend most of our time out in the dirt or sitting in our small office talking to farmers. The land out here is everything to us. We look at seeds and how they respond to the local soil. It’s a lot of trial and error because the weather doesn't always play nice. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We just look at what’s actually growing and see if we can make it a bit better. Sometimes a farmer comes in with a handful of leaves that don't look right, and we try to figure out what's wrong. It’s a quiet life in this part of Rajasthan, far away from the big cities. We don’t have any marketing people or a big staff. It's just a few of us who know about crops and want to help out. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the water levels in the canals. It’s honest work that keeps our hands dirty and our minds busy. We just want to see the harvest look good when the time comes. No fancy promises, just the daily grind of working the earth.
