Shree Shardaben Patel Uchhatar Madhyamik School

Our place is located at number 26 in Amja, right here in the Gandhinagar area of Gujarat. It’s a busy spot once the older kids start showing up for their classes at Shree Shardaben Patel Uchhatar Madhyamik School. Being a higher secondary school means the students are a bit more grown up. Things are a little different than a primary school. We spend our mornings getting the classrooms ready and checking that everything is in order. The school has become a familiar sight for people living around 382735. It is not some big corporate building. It is just a local place where the community brings their teenagers to study. The weather out here in Amja can get quite dusty, so there is always a bit of cleaning to do on the windows and the benches. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while. You get used to the rhythm of the school year, from the busy exam seasons to the quieter times when the holidays come around. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of students talking between their sessions. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basic stuff you need to run a school properly. It’s mostly about showing up every day and making sure the doors are open and the teachers have what they need to get through the day's lessons. It is just a regular part of life in Gujarat for us.
