Abul Hasan High School

Abul Hasan High School is tucked away in Krishna Nagar, and if you live around Ahmedabad, you know how these neighborhoods feel. It is usually pretty loud in the mornings when the buses arrive. We are here every day from early morning until the sun starts to go down. The school building has seen a lot of students come and go over the years. We walk through the halls and hear the teachers talking and the kids laughing during their breaks. It is not a quiet place, but that is how a school should be, I think. The address is 382345, and it is a place where people just know each other. We don't really do big advertisements because everyone around here already knows the name. Sometimes the dusty wind from the road comes in through the windows and we have to shut them tight. The desks are lined up in the classrooms and there are old charts on the walls that have been there for ages. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day when everyone is out in the yard. We just keep things moving, making sure the bells ring on time and the gates are locked at night. It is a lot of work to keep a high school running in this part of Ahmedabad, but it is what we do. Nothing more to it than that. Just a local school for the kids around here. It feels like every day has its own rhythm, and we just follow it.
