Apple Global School

Our school is located in the Sarkhej area of Ahmedabad. If you know this part of the city, you know it can get quite busy and a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic moving toward the highway. We have a decent building here and we spend most of our time just keeping things organized. It is a daily struggle to keep the dust off the desks, but the cleaning staff works hard at it every morning before the kids show up. We have a few trees in the yard that give a bit of shade, which is nice during the summer months when it feels like the pavement is melting. The teachers here are mostly local people who have been with us for a few years. We do not really go for anything too flashy or corporate-looking. It is just a regular school where people come to work and students come to study. Sometimes the bells do not work right or a window gets stuck, and we just fix it when we can. Most of the parents live nearby and we see them at the local shops. It feels like a small community even though Ahmedabad is such a big, crowded city. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the classrooms have enough chalk and markers. It is just a normal, everyday job for us here in Sarkhej, and we are fine with that.
