Chanakya Public School

Our school is over in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, in an area that feels a bit more open than the main city. The building is a simple one, painted a light color that has faded a bit over the years. We have a gate that stays shut during school hours and a small yard where the kids gather. We don't have a lot of staff, just a handful of us who manage everything from the classes to the office work. The rooms are basic with standard benches and windows that look out onto the street. When it rains, the ground outside gets a bit muddy, so we have to remind the students to wipe their feet before coming in. We have a small collection of books in a corner that we call our library, but it's really just a couple of shelves. We don't have air conditioning or fancy sports gear. It’s just a regular public school for the families who live around here. We spend our days going through the lessons and making sure the kids stay on track with their studies. The atmosphere is generally quiet except for the break times when everyone goes outside. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big displays. We just show up every morning, unlock the doors, and get to work. It is a humble place, and we are just trying to do a decent job for the community.
