Akshar V.V. Girls School

Our school, Akshar V.V. Girls School, is tucked away in Ankur Society, right near National Highway No 8 in Saijpur Bogha. Being so close to the highway means there is always a bit of a hum from the trucks passing by, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The morning starts early here when the girls arrive. You can hear the chatter and the sound of bicycles being parked. We have been operating out of this spot for a good while, and the building has seen a lot of students come and go. It’s not a massive campus with stadiums, just a solid building with classrooms that get plenty of light. We spend most of our day making sure everything is ready for the classes. The playground isn't huge, but it's enough for the kids to run around during the break. Teachers often share lunch in the small staff room, talking about the day's lessons or just catching up on local news. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just open the windows wider to let the breeze in. It feels like a small family here because many of the staff have lived in Saijpur Bogha for their whole lives. We keep the gates shut during school hours to keep things quiet. It is a humble place, but it serves the neighborhood well, and we take pride in seeing the girls learn something new each day.
