Gyan Bharti Hindi High School

The school is right by the Ahmedabad Mehsana Highway Flyover in Chhatral Gidc. It’s located in the Milan Shopping Centre, which is a busy spot. Gandhinagar is where we are based. Gyan Bharti Hindi High School is just a local place where we teach kids. Most of the students come from the nearby worker colonies because this is an industrial area. It gets quite loud with all the trucks passing by on the highway. We’ve been at unit 13 for quite some time now. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular shopping centre block converted for classes. We focus on Hindi medium because that’s what the families around here need. People know us as the school near the flyover. We don’t spend money on big signs or anything like that. Life here is mostly about the daily routine of opening the doors and getting the desks ready for the morning shift. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just open the windows and keep going. It’s a simple setup for the kids in Chhatral. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Most parents just walk over to drop their kids off before they go to their shifts at the factories nearby. It feels like a small community even though the highway is right there. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day. It's a bit dusty and loud, but it's our place.
