Our company is located at the Shanarpatty Vattara Kalanjiam in Sanarpatti. We go by Shanarpatty Kalanjia Jeevidam 10K Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s a long name for a fairly simple operation. We’re a collective of local farmers who decided that working together was better than struggling alone. The Kalanjiam serves as our hub where we bring our produce and figure out the logistics. It gets pretty busy around harvest time, with tractors and carts coming in and out all day. We have to keep track of a lot of different people’s contributions, which can be a bit of a headache for whoever is doing the books that week.
