Indfarms is located at 25 Police Line Street in Erode. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to get a lot done from this little office. We work with different agricultural products, mostly connecting what’s grown around Erode to people who need it. The street is usually busy with people going to the station or local shops, so there’s always some noise. Our walls are covered with calendars and notes about harvest times and prices. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where every piece of paper is. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and checking on the quality of the produce. It’s not a glamorous job, and it involves a lot of waiting for things to grow or for trucks to arrive. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, and the locals know us well. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on being here every morning and answering the phone when it rings. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but you can’t control that in this line of work. We just take it as it comes and try to keep our commitments. It’s a simple business, built on knowing the land and the people around Erode. If you’re passing by Police Line Street, you’ll see our door is almost always open for anyone who needs to talk.
