You can find us at 5/411 on the Sathy Athani Main Road, right in Mgr Nagar. It’s near the Alathukombai Post. Most of us around here grow sugarcane. It’s the main thing we do. We started this producer company because the sugar mills can be a lot to handle for one person. Being a group makes it a bit easier to get things organized. Our office is right on the main road, so it’s easy for the trucks to stop by. It’s often loud with the traffic passing by. We spend our days checking on the fields and talking to the cutters. Sugarcane takes a long time to grow, so you have to be patient. We share advice on irrigation and how to handle the pests. It’s a practical business. We don’t use big words or have complicated plans. We just want to make sure the cane gets to the mill and we get paid on time. Sometimes the harvest is great and sometimes it’s just okay. That’s just the way it goes with farming. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. Our families all know each other. It’s hard work, especially when it’s time to harvest, but we get through it together. We just keep our heads down, watch the crops, and manage the paperwork at the office. It’s what we know and it keeps us all going.
