Oxford High School

Our school is located at No 276 on Valayalkarar Street in Erode. This is a very old and busy part of the city, known for its small lanes and many shops. The school is right in the thick of it. It’s a high school, so we have a lot of teenagers coming in every day. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. It isn't a modern glass building; it’s more of a traditional Erode structure with thick walls and high ceilings. We’ve been here for many years, so most people in the neighborhood know us. The street is always full of people moving goods or going to work, and our students are just part of that daily flow. We don't have a big yard, so the kids usually gather in the corridors or the small common area during their breaks. We focus on the standard subjects required by the state board. The teachers are practical people who have been teaching for a long time. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just provide a place for kids to study and get their certificates. The fans hum in the background while the teachers talk, and that’s the sound of our school day. It’s a very local, honest environment. We know the parents and we know the shops around us. It’s just a normal part of Erode life.
