Nandha Central City School

Nandha Central City School is located at No 21 in Thitumal Nagar, which is part of the New Teachers Colony in Erode. We are right opposite the Realian building, not far from the Collectorate. Because we are in such a central spot, there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the street outside. The school itself is a multi-story building tucked into a residential block. It’s not a huge campus with sprawling fields, but we make use of every bit of space we have. We have a small area in the front where parents can park their scooters when they come to pick up their children. Inside, the hallways are narrow and the walls are covered with student work and notices. Our staff room is small and we often have to share desks. Most of us have worked here for years and we’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on. It’s a very local atmosphere where people look out for one another. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the building is clean. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud during the afternoon, but the students are used to it by now. We have a few fans in every room to help with the Erode heat. It’s just a regular school in a busy part of town. We open the gates early and stay until the last student is gone.
