We’ve been here on Agraharam Street in Erode for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, but once you step inside the gates of Mvn High School, things quiet down a bit. Most of the folks around here know where we are, right at number 379. It isn't a flashy building or anything, just a solid place where kids come to learn their lessons and play in the yard. We see the same faces every morning when the parents drop their children off before heading to work. The street outside gets pretty crowded with traffic, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Our rooms are plain and we keep things simple. Teachers here have been around for years, so they know most of the families in the neighborhood by name. It’s not just about the books, though that’s a big part of it. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids are doing okay and keeping up with their work. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy and the desks have seen better days, but it works for us. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local school trying to get through the curriculum and help the students move on to whatever comes next for them. Erode is a hardworking place, and we try to reflect that in how we run things every day.
