Lakshmi Flyash Works

Lakshmi Flyash Works is out in Kenjanur. It’s a quiet spot, not like the big cities where everything is moving so fast. We work with flyash, which is a byproduct that people use for making construction blocks and cement things. It’s a messy job, honestly. There is grey dust everywhere on the ground and the equipment, no matter how much you try to clean it up. We have a few machines and a large yard where we keep the raw material and the finished loads. We don't have a website or any of that fancy social media stuff. People in Kenjanur know where we are if they need us, or they just drive down the road until they see the yard. We started small and we’ve stayed about the same size over the years. We don't have many employees, just a few local guys who know how to run the equipment and move the piles. The days start very early here because it’s much better to work before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes a problem. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. If the machines break, we usually try to fix them ourselves with some tools. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't make big promises. We just provide the flyash and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the trucks are late or the power goes out in the village, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s just how things go.
